Nagano

Filed under: News — added by Chiara @ 11:33 am

I’ve been in Nagano lot of times already, and it never really looks different. This year snow welcome us and temperature is very different compared to the sunny warmy air of Italy. I’m skating every morning and taking a lot of rest. There still few days to go before the races begin next Thursday with 1500m. I really want to skate also 500m before 1000m and I hope my leg will allow me to skate everything and fast obviously!!!! The leg is going really good. The physio Max bandages it everyday so that every muscle is more safe from injury while I push as strong as I can.

Easy racing

Filed under: News — added by Chiara @ 8:29 am

Sometimes it happen destiny decides to stop us. Everytime it decides to stop me from skating, happen that I come back on my skates and understand how much I like skating and how much fun I can have skating.

Yesterday, while my opponenets are skating the Final in Holland, I’ve been allowed to skate some “easy” race without force too much. Well…. I tryed hard not to force, but it was hard to obbligate myself to stay and not go too fast on the line. There were good races because of my feeling and I got the permission to try one more time today.

PATTINAGGIO VELOCITA’, SIMIONATO: PIU’ GRAVE DEL PREVISTO L’INFORTUNIO ALLA GAMBA

Filed under: Press Releases — added by Chiara @ 1:09 pm

Skates on!

Filed under: News — added by Chiara @ 8:56 pm

Today I put my skates on after 16 days. It has been a very very easy skate, just to understand how my leg is. And it was good. No pain at all. Tomorrow I will try one more time and see how feelings are before decide if going back in training camp and try to train. This situation isn’t fun at all… but I normally never give up!

Physioterapy

Filed under: News — added by Chiara @ 1:58 pm

After 1 week of physioterapy I understood my accident during training is worse than I wanted to admit to myself. I decided to go back home to have more physioterapy because right now there’s no chances to put my skates on. I will finish the terapy in one week and then see how my conditions will be. I guess I need to follow medical suggestion in this case, that’s something I normally don’t do so much. I really hope it will be possible to skate again and finish my season like every other skaters, but with this (almost) strained muscle, I’m beginning to lose my hopes.

No start at W.C. in Italy

Filed under: News — added by Chiara @ 6:14 pm

After I decided to skip the W.c. in Norway, I will miss The Italian week end in Baselga. Unfortunately I injured myself on the last training of last week on the back of the left leg and I will not be able to train for a little bit. I really hope this “little bit” will be as short as possible to be back soon on the ice.
