Yesterday I visited Giro d’Italia. Bikers had to arrive in “tre cime di lavaredo” that’s 40km from home. It was one of the hardest days of the Giro. I’ve been invited to partecipate at “Processo alla tappa” that’s a program where guests speak about what is happening. I met there old bikers Gianni Motta and Eddy Mercks. It has been a nice day, except for weather: I was so cold! It even snow for a little while during the afternoon.

Almost half of the camp is gone. We ride every morning and make specific training in the afternoon. It’s really hard to my muscle, but soon they’ll get used to the work and will be ok. The sport center is very nice and weather is excellent. Tomorrow I’ll have a bike-free-day and get some hours to take a tan. I’ll put some pictures in the next days

Holidays are over! Monday I’ll be on my way with the team to Formia, 100km south of Rome, where first training camp will be held. There will be lots of bike, jumps, weights…. Hopefully I’ll find some free time to see the ocean and obviously to take a tan, just on the other side of the track and field area, where we will train and live.

Mostly everytime I’ve been there, there were athletes from several summer sport training there; it’s the track where f.e. Fiona May used to train or where Gibilisco use to jump. I already met there australian, polish, swedish… probably more, who remembers!
