Tibet or Italy?

They’re just two sherpas visiting our country after they worked for some “cadorino” in an excursion in Nepal.

I met them during the new opening of the shop Samarcanda as you can see in the pictures with my friend Roberto.

Hi everybody.

This season is arrived to its end. I should say finally because it’s been really long to me (and to most skaters too). Even if I won the 1000m World Cup I’m a little sad because of my 4th place in the same distance at the Single Distance Championship, where I was really focused trying to skate a personal best time. Unfortunately it didn’t happen…. I’ll try next November, when there will be probably the first World Cup of the upcoming season.

Yesterday morning I arrived in Italy and tomorrow I’ll be at school of “Corpo Forestale dello Stato”, in Roma area, that is now my new club. I’ll have some holiday now, need to get some rest. I’ll try to get you some news during the summer and keep my home page alive. I just added some new pictures. By now….. CIAO

Hi everybody!!! I’m still at the oval, watching 5km. It was so hard to skate 1500m today!! Outside it’s a little bit wet and it doesn’t help the ice to be fast. Wow… I’ve been 8th at this distance, same as 2004 in Seoul. Pretty satisfied of my race, just a very little bit disappointed with second lap that was too slow compared to Calgary last week.

Now I need to rest waiting 500m on Saturday. Tonight I will probably have dinner with friends to relax a little bit, and then everything I will think will be racing in the week end. Hopefully weather will be better then today… I really want to skate italian record before finish my season!!

1500 Meter

If Calgary I told is one of my best place to be, Salt Lake is immediately behind it. We arrived here yesterday after a pretty long travel through Minneapolis.The weather is very good, it’s sunny and warm. There will be 2 sessions of skating during these days, one for Europe and one for rest of the World. That’s why there’s a lot of skaters and if ice is too crowded it’s  dangerous too. I’ll skate first in the afternoon, after a walk in the city where I definitely need to buy some water… I get so thirsty here!!
